Since the beginning of 2009 we have chosen to focus on and employ Microsoft Silverlight 3 in a range of our development projects. During this period a number of our employees have been educated and certified within this specific technology which has resulted in several exiting solutions for our clients.
Silverlight 3 introduces major media enhancements like, out of browser support allowing Web applications to work on the desktop; significant graphics improvements including perspective 3D graphics support and many features to improve RIA development productivity. Everything easy to integrate with .NET developer tools, Visual Studio etc.
At Initto one example of using this is an application which provides a web based solution for all end customers who would like to avail their pension / insurance with the client. Another example is an online story telling climaxing during the COP15 Climate Summit which has also benefitted from the new technology.
